Job Title: Marketing Automation & AI Engineer (Remote)Salary: £70k open to negotiation DOE Location: Remote-first role with a preference for London proximity

A fast-growing B2B FinTech scale-up (modular banking & payments infrastructure) is building a brand-new function at the intersection of Marketing, AI, and Automation, and they're looking for the engineer who will help shape it from day one.

What You'll Work On

• Architect and optimise n8n / Zapier / Make workflows that power the marketing engine
• Build AI-driven agents, automations, and internal tools that improve traffic, conversions, and lead flow
• Turn insights ? hypotheses ? experiments ? measurable outcomes
• Spot signals in noisy data and connect them into actionable patterns
• Explore emerging AI/automation tools and apply them to real go-to-market systems
• Scout new use cases across marketing, content, and sales automation

Who You Are

• A strategic thinker with builder energy: senior mindset, junior ego, high initiative
• Familiar with n8n, Make, Airtable, APIs, ChatGPT automation
• Comfortable with ambiguity; you find structure where others see chaos
• Obsessed with understanding how systems grow (traffic ? leads ? revenue)
• Curious, experimental, analytical
• You ask sharp questions and design experiments to answer them
