Job Summary:

The Copywriter role is a talented, technical and creative writer with experience in SEO writing. This position combines an understanding of trends such as SEO keyword targeting, branding, copywriting and research. This role requires an understanding of how to bring the client's brand voice to life through content, while ensuring SEO friendly content is produced. Working alongside cross-channel team members to produce high-end, best-in-class websites, and contributing to client growth.

Supervisory Relationship:

  • Reports directly to the Creative Director

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental keyword research to identify high-value search phrases for unique, hyper-local markets across the country
  • Manage SEO copywriting and editing for different audiences to support each brand's voice and content goals
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate established and emerging best practices in SEO into your work
  • Ideate as well as write copy for digital platforms, integrate SEO best practices and any other copy needs.
  • Write copy that is within brand guidelines and on brief while mastering a variety of brand voices.
  • Receive and incorporate team and client feedback.
  • Sit in creative review and website kickoffs with clients when necessary.
  • Work closely with the Account Managers, Designers and Developers to take a brief from beginning to end
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
  • Proof all website content and copy for information accuracy, brand consistency, grammar and typos.
  • Manage and adhere to project timelines, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience SEO writing
  • Proven knowledge of SEO writing and best practices
  • Experience taking a project from brief to client approval
  • A background in website content writing
  • Excellent teamwork and time management skills
  • Team player and a self-starter
  • Must be willing to accept and adapt to cross-channel and client feedback in a professional manner

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field required.
  • One to three years of related experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
