Job Overview
The Marketing Intern will play a key role in supporting Visionary’s podcast as part of the broader marketing team. This role blends production assistance with marketing coordination. The intern will help prepare each episode, manage communication with guests, and organize the full recording process. They will support storytelling efforts by helping gather content, structure episode notes, and keep all materials organized for the marketing team. This position gives hands-on experience in both content creation and behind-the-scenes production, offering a strong introduction to media, branding, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate guest schedules, logistics, and prep materials

· Prepare the recording space and set up all equipment

· Test audio/video and troubleshoot simple technical issues

· Monitor sound and video quality during recording sessions

· Break down, store, save, and back up all recording equipment and files

· Organize files, pull timestamps, and draft brief episode summaries

· Gather guest bios, quotes, and assets to support marketing and content planning

· Create simple social clips and assist with admin tasks, checklists, and follow-ups

Required Qualifications

· Able to use a computer

· Able to record with either an iPhone or Digital Camera

Other Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Interest in marketing, media, podcasting, or digital storytelling
  • Ability to learn equipment setup and simple troubleshooting
  • Comfortable managing schedules and deadlines
  • Detail-focused and reliable
  • Basic experience with audio or video tools is a plus but not required

Compensation:

  • Pay: $18.00 / hour
  • Hours: 15-20 hours / week on-site
