Marketing Intern, PRN

1. Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.

2. Training and Experience: Experience with website editing preferred but not required.

3. Job Knowledge: Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends. Basic graphic design skills (Canva; Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop). Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects. A positive attitude, creative mindset, and willingness to learn.

DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Intern should be creative, detail-oriented, and motivated. The Marketing Intern will help to support the Marketing team with a variety of projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in social media management, press release writing, graphic design, and hospital marketing projects and events.

The Marketing Intern will receive real-world experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, a diverse portfolio of published work and professional-quality designs, and mentorship from experienced communications and nonprofit professionals, including professionals with APR credentials.

Physical Effort: Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Walking, standing, lifting and prolonged sitting. Occasional evening or weekend event attendance required.

Mental Effort: Considerable amount of mental effort and concentration required, primarily in planning and organizing own work. A great deal of judgment and attention to detail is needed in this position.
