Summary/Objective

Experienced and strategic individual desired to lead our marketing initiatives, drive brand growth, and oversee campaigns that engage customers and strengthen market presence. This role requires a balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and leadership to ensure our marketing efforts align with business objectives.

The Marketing Manager is a visionary who will help shape and execute the company’s brand, growth, and customer engagement strategies. This role goes beyond managing day-to-day marketing activities—it requires a blend of foresight, creative innovation, and analytical rigor to drive sustainable business growth

Essential Functions

  • Conducting market and competitor research, identifying target audiences and consumer trends, and using data analytics to inform decisions and measure campaign effectiveness

  • Define and own the company’s marketing vision, positioning, and long-term strategy

  • Align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and revenue goals

  • Build and protect the company’s brand identity across all channels

  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone and visual representation

  • Lead digital content and performance marketing strategies

  • Expand market share through innovative customer acquisition and retention programs

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and threats

  • Report results to executive leadership with transparency and clarity

  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights

  • Building and maintaining brand awareness and positioning, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms

  • Working closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, finance, and operations, to ensure cohesive strategies and meet company-wide goals.

  • Plan, execute and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, events, print)

  • Track KPI’s and ROI for campaigns, providing regular performance reports

  • Staying updated on market trends and competitor strategies, conducting market research, and gathering insights to inform marketing decisions and stay ahead in the industry

  • Conceptualizing and implementing marketing strategy in alignment with business objectives

  • Designing, planning, and executing effective marketing campaigns in line with the marketing strategy, and establishing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required. Master's degree or applicable professional certifications a plus
  • 10 years of experience in marketing with a proven track record of success
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and demand generation
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and comfort dealing with the media
  • Strategic, hands-on problem solving
  • Strong knowledge of B2B marketing, digital platforms, and CRM tools

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct reports.

Work Environment

Work may be performed in a well-lit indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment, or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Sedentary physical activity involving non-strenuous administrative tasks. Manual dexterity sufficient to work with the fingers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, in-office position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be required. AMPORTS supports a hybrid schedule with the ability to work from home one day per week, subject to supervisor approval.

Travel

Moderate overnight travel (15%–30%) by land and/or air.

Work Authorization / Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain a TWIC badge (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
