Description:

We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who’s passionate about storytelling, digital engagement, and bringing ideas to life across social media and marketing campaigns.

This role manages NCCER’s social channels, supports brand and awareness campaigns, and collaborates with designers and content creators to connect our mission with audiences nationwide.

If you love creating content that sparks conversation, drives engagement, and strengthens a brand with purpose—this is your opportunity.

Social Media (Primary Focus)

  • Create, schedule, and manage posts across NCCER’s social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, as well as X and TikTok in the future).
  • Write copy and coordinate visuals that align with NCCER’s brand voice and campaigns.
  • Monitor engagement and conversations; build community among educators, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Track performance, share insights, and recommend ways to improve reach and engagement.

Marketing Campaign Support

  • Assist with cross-channel campaigns promoting NCCER programs, credentials, and partnerships.
  • Help craft marketing copy for emails, web pages, and collateral.
  • Coordinate event promotions, webinars, and campaign logistics.
  • Maintain digital assets and ensure consistent brand messaging.

Reporting & Optimization

  • Support monthly performance reporting and KPI tracking for social media and digital campaigns.
  • Use analytics to inform creative and strategic adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in social media, marketing, or communications.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills — you know how to make content clear, engaging, and on-brand.
  • Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, social media management platforms (SproutSocial, Hootsuite, or Buffer), Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Microsoft Ads
  • Strong organization, creativity, and collaborative mindset.
  • Passion for education, workforce development, or nonprofit missions.

NCCER is an equal opportunity employer. No one shall be denied employment or opportunity based on race or color, sex, age, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability, veteran’s status, marital status, gender identity or sexual orientation. NCCER also provides reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities and bona fide religious beliefs, provided that such accommodation does not constitute an undue hardship on the Company.
