Mastercam Programmer

We are looking for a Master cam Programmer who creates and optimizes CNC programs using Master cam software , collaborates with engineers and machinists , and ensures quality by interpreting technical drawings , managing fixtures , and overseeing machine setup and operation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Program Development : Create and maintain CNC programs for various machines like Lathe , VMC , Wirecut using Mastercam software.
• Optimization : Analyze and optimize toolpaths , speeds , feeds , and cutting strategies to reduce cycle times and improve productivity.
• Collaboration : Work with engineers and machinists to interpret specifications , resolve issues , and ensure programs are clear and comprehensible.
• Setup and Operation : Design and program fixtures , select tools , setup machines , and monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Experience : Previous experience in CNC machining and setup using Master cam is essential . Ideally it should be 2-3 years.
• Software Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Master cam is required.
• Experience with other CAD/CAM software like SolidWorks is often needed.
• Technical Skills : Ability to read and interpret technical drawings , and GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing ) is critical.
• Machine Operation : Familiarity with operating CNC machines , including setting controls for speed , feed , and coolant flow , is necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree : (B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical ) is often preferred.
• ITI / Diploma : (Eg. In Mechanical Industrial , or Production Engineering ) is a common background.
