Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Material Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to join our team. As a Material Engineer, you will be responsible for selecting, testing, and evaluating materials used in manufacturing and construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure the materials meet quality standards, performance requirements, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Selection & Analysis: Select appropriate materials based on project requirements, considering factors such as cost, performance, durability, and sustainability.
• Testing & Evaluation: Conduct material testing and analysis to ensure the materials meet the desired specifications and quality standards. Prepare test reports and recommend improvements.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of materials used in production. Work with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Process Improvement: Suggest improvements in material handling, processing, and testing procedures to optimize production and enhance product quality.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to production and design teams in material-related matters, including problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material specifications, test results, and certifications. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure that all materials comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and suppliers to select the right materials and ensure seamless integration into the production process.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in material engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of materials, including metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites.
• Hands-on experience with material testing, failure analysis, and performance evaluation.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and material testing software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Material Science or related field.
• Experience with advanced materials and emerging technologies.
• Certification in relevant standards or processes (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certifications).

Working Environment:

• The role may require occasional site visits to production facilities or project sites.
• Standard working hours, with flexibility for urgent project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED10.00 per month
