Material Handler

Shift: 2nd shift - 3:30PM - 12:00AM

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials in our warehouse environment, ensuring that products are stored, organized, and shipped efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers to move products within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick and pack orders for shipping while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all materials are logged into the warehouse management system.
• Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards while performing heavy lifting tasks.
• Build pallets and prepare materials for shipment as required.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in material handling processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating order pickers, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
