Job Title: Math Curriculum Writer (K–12, U.S. Curriculum)

Location: India (Remote) – immediate start, contract/freelance or full‑time based on need
Grades: K–12 or focused on Grades K-12 depending on project requirements
Employment Type: Contract (with potential for full-time)

Role Overview:

• Develop original, instructional math curriculum content across K–12 (or specific grade bands like Grades 9–12).
• Align content with U.S. educational standards (e.g. Common Core State Standards or state-specific standards).
• Focus on curriculum development only—specifically lesson plans, scope and sequence, teacher guides, worked examples, scaffolding strategies, student activities, and supplementary instructional materials.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, subject-matter experts, reviewers, and editors to ensure pedagogical rigor and coherence.
• Participate in iterative review and feedback cycles; update content based on reviewer/instructional feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and sequence instructional modules, unit plans, lesson content, practice exercises, and teacher support materials.
• Embed conceptual understanding strategies, differentiation, and formative strategies within curriculum (but not formal assessments).
• Maintain academic accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.
• Incorporate culturally inclusive and accessible design.
• Adhere to project timelines and development workflows.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
• 3+ years of curriculum development or instructional design experience in K–12 math aligned to U.S. standards.
• Strong fluency with Common Core (or equivalent state frameworks) and familiarity with U.S. instructional strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proven ability to write grade-level appropriate, pedagogically sound content.

Pay: ₹9,530.15 - ₹38,706.54 per month
