Job Description

Candidate will work with teams to establish design requirements and ensure designs are safe, durable, and meet the quality requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Creating & manipulating solid models
• Experience with designing weld fixtures and tooling
• Experience in creating weldment drawings
• Thorough knowledge of actuators and clamping devices
• Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems design, power packs, NPT standards, hydraulic lines
• Assist in creating technical documents that will provide engineering requirements for designs and repairs.
• Interfacing and coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines to promote the exchange of necessary data
• Technical data review & interpretation
• Training/mentoring junior engineers to further grow design team
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and discussions (Design, Structures, Project)

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Microsoft office
• Experience with 3D CAD software - SolidWorks
• Reading technical prints
• Technical writing and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration
• Part stack-up analysis and fit checks

Education Requirements

AS or BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology such as:

• Aerospace
• Mechanical
• Power Generation / Power Plants
• Automotive

Skills & Experience

• 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), Design, Documentations, SolidWorks, Tolerance Analysis, Tolerance Stack Ups
