Position: Design & Development Engineer
 

Department: Mechanical Engineering 
 

Prime Function:
 

To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the production, develop drawings & provide support to all those team members who need.

Required Skills:
 

• Problem solving
• High proficiency in SolidWorks
• Capacity to use basic business software (such as Excel) and ERP
• Demonstrate initiative in solving challenging problems

Required Qualifications:
 

• 4 Years Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable University
• Technical knowledge in engineering systems and calculations, applications of engineering methods, material properties

Required Experience:
 

• 1 Year or Higher Work Experience
• Experience in developing 3D models and 2D drawings
• Experience with sheet metal work is a plus

Roles & Responsibilities:
 

• Design and Development of new products methodically (product specifications, material selection, CAD design, detailed product drawings)
• Document designs for product support and efficient development of successive product generations
• To be able to quickly get up to speed with emerging technical requirements of the production and the design departments
• Product Optimization of Existing Portfolio
• Perform Finite Element Analysis
• Coordination with suppliers for sublet work
• Develop Quality Control Checks in existing Production Setup
• Liaison with team members for improved coordination and workflow with production department
• Highlighting Production Loopholes for Improving Efficiency
