Operating out of San Francisco, California, and equipped with latest simulation tools and high-end manufacturing machines, Dymenso supplies highly engineered vacuum electronics devices to customers worldwide.

The Role:

Position available open to Mechanical Engineer with creative and analytical mind. Requires strong mechanical problem-solving skills and an aptitude for developing quality engineering solutions. The position requires a dynamic and multifunction individual who is knowledgeable of full-cycle engineering/manufacturing processes. He/she will work together in a team, engineering the products and be the overall liaison between the in-house manufacturing team. This person should have general engineering expertise and be open to collaborate in a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 2-7 years of related work experience
  • Proficient in SolidWorks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Precision engineering and manufacturing experience
  • Solid understanding of vacuum components, material properties and machine design
  • Thermal analysis experience
  • Structural analysis experience
  • Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preferably with ANSYS software experience
  • CFD analysis experience (ANSYS Fluent preferred)
  • Manufacturing experience and knowledge of CAM tools
  • Skilled in documenting activities and maintaining records
  • Good understanding of standards and geometric tolerancing
  • Ability to manage time, resources and vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
