Supervising and following up
on all mechanical engineering activities (design, review, coordination, supervision, and monitoring) in collaboration with specialized service providers such as:

Engineering consultancy offices

Suppliers

Other relevant entities

Applying accumulated academic and practical expertise
in the field of mechanical engineering to fulfill the company’s needs and objectives across ongoing projects, in alignment with its adopted strategic direction.
Detailed Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Coordinating with all relevant stakeholders and providing appropriate recommendations concerning the company’s projects and associated mechanical engineering works.

Reviewing assigned technical documents and preparing appropriate responses.

Closely monitoring and coordinating with service providers regarding approved
design documents
for mechanical systems in projects, ensuring their compliance with contractual terms, codes, and local regulations.

Following up with
contractors and consultants
during the execution phase to verify their adherence to technical and contractual requirements, with sufficient knowledge of engineering and administrative contract drafting.

Auditing and verifying project documents prior to tendering to ensure their compliance with local and international engineering standards and requirements.

Preparing and submitting periodic reports to the department head on all technical issues and assigned projects.

Performing all necessary technical and administrative tasks related to
design, design review, and technical coordination
, using applicable engineering tools and software, in collaboration with all stakeholders and service providers.

Contributing to the establishment of a comprehensive engineering database for all mechanical work aspects.

Maintaining continuous professional development through engineering courses and training to keep pace with industry developments.

Proactively proposing appropriate solutions to technical problems encountered during project design or execution phases, and while preparing RFPs or RFQs for technical and financial proposals.

Coordinating with engineers from other disciplines on all matters related to mechanical engineering work.

Participating in quality control and assurance activities, and developing technical standards and specifications for projects using a clear methodology aligned with local and international benchmarks.

Conducting field visits to project sites, evaluating actual conditions, and submitting required technical reports.

Performing any other duties within the scope of expertise, as assigned, in accordance with company work policies.

Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Ability to read and understand designs and schematics

with 5-9 years of experience
