Job Description : Mechanical (ME) Designer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Client: Stellantis

Job Title: ME Designer

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded design development.
• Experience in Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) .
• Familiarity with more than one leading CAD tool .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial/automotive domain (Tier-1).
• Solid understanding of embedded electronics design constraints.
• Familiar with system/component design.
• Knowledge of applicable industry regulations and benchmarks.
• Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Belt certification.
• Experience in thermal management for ECU embedded electronics.
• Experience with EMI/EMC design constraints (preferred).

Required Tool Experience

• UG NX or CATIA (3–6 years).
• CAD Modeling & Detailing (3–6 years).
• PLM tools : ENOVIA, Teamcenter, etc. (3–6 years).
• CAE Tools : ANSYS (Mechanical preferred).
