- Oversee operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, and related plant equipment.
- Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and enhance system reliability.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and lead repair works for refrigeration and cold storage systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, particularly regarding ammonia handling.
- Monitor plant performance, analyze operating data, and suggest improvements for energy efficiency.
- Coordinate with AC technicians and operators for day-to-day plant operations.
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment history, and technical documentation.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical systems and equipment in cold storage facilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures during plant maintenance and operation.
- Train and guide technicians and junior staff on safe handling and technical procedures.
