Eastwest Group of Companies (RL0980) is looking for Mechanical Engineer - HVAC

Key Job Responsibilities:

• HVAC System Design
• Develop HVAC system layouts, load calculations, and system sizing using industry standards.
• Prepare design drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Select appropriate HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ducts, etc.) based on design requirements.
• Project Execution & Supervision
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems at project sites.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, MEP) to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow.
• Technical Evaluation & Coordination
• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to resolve design and installation issues.
• Attend project meetings and provide engineering input.
• Testing, Commissioning & Quality Control
• Perform site checks, air balancing, and system performance evaluations.
• Ensure that systems meet required efficiency, safety, and operational standards.
• Operation & Maintenance Support
• Provide guidance for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure adherence to international and local standards.
• Maintain project records, reports, test results, and updated as-built documentation.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
• Skills Required: HVAC system, HVAC Project Execution, HVAC or MEP field

Experience Requirements

• At least 7 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Engineering Firms,Chemical Industries

Additional Requirements

• Candidates with previous Gulf experience will be given preference.
