Mechanical Engineer – HVAC Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer – HVAC Specialist to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC design, installation, testing & commissioning, and maintenance, with a solid understanding of Qatar’s building codes, standards, and climate considerations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and optimize HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Prepare HVAC drawings, load calculations, equipment selections, and technical submittals.
• Oversee installation activities and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3years of experience in HVAC design and site execution (GCC experience preferred).
• Proven knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water systems, VRF/VRV, FCUs, AHUs, and related equipment.
• Proficiency in industry software (HVAC load calculation tools, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• UPDA/MMUP certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
