About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MECHANICAL ENGINEER with solid Construction Industry experience, capable of managing mechanical works across site operations and project phases. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring mechanical systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in alignment with project standards, safety policies, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage mechanical works on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related systems.
• Review mechanical drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, and work execution plans.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring mechanical works are on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.
• Assist in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and procurement coordination.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years onwards of proven experience in mechanical engineering within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively handle fast-paced project environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
