Job Title: Mechanical Foreman

Reports To: Project Engineer / Site Manager

Job Purpose:

The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the mechanical team on-site, ensuring that all mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, etc.) are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards, while maintaining project schedules and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians, plumbers, and pipe fitters.
• Plan and organize daily work schedules based on project priorities.
• Ensure that installation and maintenance of all mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, etc.) are carried out as per drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with other trades (electrical, civil, etc.) to avoid site conflicts.
• Inspect and verify materials, tools, and equipment needed for work execution.
• Report daily progress, manpower, and material usage to the site engineer or project manager.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
• Assist in testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues in coordination with the engineer.
• Support handover activities and ensure all mechanical works are completed and documented properly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in MEP/construction projects in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
