IMMEDIATE HIRE: Mechanical Site Supervisor - Solar Tracker Assembly (KSA)

Location: Hafar al-batin

SME Electromechanical is urgently seeking a short-term, site-based Mechanical Supervisor for a critical solar mechanical installation contract in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• KSA Iqama: You MUST possess a valid and transferable Iqama and be currently residing in KSA.
• Salary Cap: Maximum monthly salary is SAR 3,000-4,000. You must be comfortable with this rate.
• Availability: Must be able to join the site immediately.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct, hands-on site experience in solar mechanical structure assembly, torquing, and alignment.

Your Focus: Mechanical Structure & Assembly

This is a hands-on role; practical expertise in building solar trackers is the priority. Formal degrees are not required.

• Tracker Assembly: Directly oversee and participate in the assembly of solar tracking structures from foundation connection to final motor integration.
• Torquing & Tightening: Ensure all bolts, connections, and structural components are tightened and torqued to the precise specifications outlined in the project drawings and manuals.
• Mechanical Alignment: Monitor the accurate execution of structural leveling, alignment, and cross-referencing to ensure trackers move and function correctly.
• Quality Checks: Perform in-process quality control checks on assembly steps, focusing on correct component use, bolt tension, and structural integrity.
• Site Discipline: Maintain safety standards and adherence to the Senior Engineer’s daily instructions.
• Reporting: Provide prompt daily progress reports on assembly metrics and material usage.

Candidate Profile (What We Look For)

• Experience: 2+ years of practical site experience in the mechanical assembly of solar PV structures (single-axis trackers experience preferred).
• Technical Skill: Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, demonstrate competence in using specialized torquing tools, and understand alignment procedures.
• Fitness: Physically fit, highly reliable, and willing to work long hours on site.
