Medical Lab Scientist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist (Generalist) to support our client’s team in Deerfield Beach, FL . This is a full-time, 13 weeks contract to hire position.

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Medical Lab Scientist (Generalist) to support our client, in their busy, high-volume core laboratory in Deerfield Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will be an experienced MLS with a valid Florida license , capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role is on-site with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical laboratory testing as a generalist in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments
• Ensure testing accuracy with strict adherence to quality control standards
• Review, validate, and document laboratory results
• Follow CLIA, safety, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership and team members in a fast-paced core lab

Skills & Qualifications :

• Florida Medical Technologist / MLS license (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related science meeting CLIA requirements
• Previous experience working as a Generalist in a clinical laboratory
• Experience with LIS systems (Epic and Sunquest preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume lab environment
• Color vision screening required (passing not mandatory

• Location: Deerfield Beach, FL
• Job Type: 03 Months (Contract to Hire)
• Pay Range : $35 - $39 hourly
• Shifts: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift – 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
