Role Summary

The Medical Superintendent will be responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating all medical services and clinical operations at Shalby Hospital, Gurugram. The role ensures high standards of patient care, clinical compliance, quality outcomes, and professional coordination between Consultants, Medical Officers, Nursing, Support Functions, and Management.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Operations & Governance

  • Oversee day-to-day functioning of clinical services including OPD, IPD, Emergency, ICU, OT, and ancillary departments.
  • Monitor clinical quality indicators, patient safety protocols, and ensure compliance with NABH/NABL standards.
  • Review and approve clinical policies, SOPs, guidelines and ensure periodic audits and implementation.

Leadership & Coordination

  • Facilitate coordination among Consultants, RMO/Medical Officers, Nursing teams, diagnostics and administrative departments.
  • Conduct regular clinical review meetings and establish a culture of collaborative working.
  • Support strategic initiatives to enhance service lines, patient volume, and operational excellence.

Patient Care & Experience

  • Address escalated patient concerns, medico-legal cases, and ensure adherence to ethical medical practice.
  • Ensure timely resolution of patient grievances and drive improvement in patient satisfaction scores.

Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with statutory healthcare regulations, licensing, medical records maintenance and clinical documentation protocols.
  • Liaison with government bodies, accreditation agencies, regulatory authorities and medico-legal stakeholders.

Talent & Training Management

  • Lead recruitment, credentialing, appraisal, and competency evaluation of medical staff.
  • Drive CME programs, clinical training, audits, and skill-building initiatives for medical and paramedical teams.

Emergency & Crisis Management

  • Ensure round-the-clock medical coverage, clinical rosters, and emergency readiness of the hospital.
  • Oversee disaster management protocols and support public health initiatives as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 - ₹2,600,000.00 per year
