Unity House is dedicated to making life better for our communities, and our Housing Support Services Department is seeking a full-time Mental Health Nurse to join the ACT Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as part of a multidisciplinary mobile treatment team.
  • Conduct mental health assessments and evaluate physical health needs.
  • Provide referrals to community physicians based on client needs.
  • Manage and administer medications in collaboration with a psychiatrist.
  • Deliver a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services.
  • Promote overall wellness, self-management, and recovery-oriented care.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, belonging, and respect.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse license required.
  • Nurse Practitioners encouraged to apply (must have prescriptive authority and DEA number).
  • Minimum one year of experience in mental health and/or substance use settings.
  • Valid and clean NYS driver’s license required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation.
