We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical MEP Coordinator to join our team at [Insert Company Name]. As an Electrical MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems across various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical systems and project coordination, ensuring that electrical installations meet project requirements, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the electrical MEP activities across all stages of construction projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are designed and installed according to project specifications.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, power, and low-voltage systems.
• Ensure adherence to local and international electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor electrical work progress, quality, and resolve any technical issues.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to manage the timely delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
• Liaise with the design and engineering teams to ensure that electrical designs align with the overall project requirements.
• Supervise and ensure that electrical work is conducted according to safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare reports on electrical works, including progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Track and manage project timelines, ensuring electrical components are installed on schedule and any delays are promptly addressed.
• Participate in the closeout process, ensuring all electrical work is documented and complies with quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP coordination, with at least 3 years focused on electrical systems within the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
