MEP Engineer

The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and supervising all MEP site activities, ensuring that work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project schedules. The role requires collaboration with contractors, consultants, and other project team members to ensure timely and quality completion.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting) at the project site.

Review MEP drawings, technical submittals, and method statements for compliance with project specifications and codes.

Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.

Inspect installation works and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.

Verify material deliveries and ensure quality as per approved material submittals.

Support testing & commissioning of MEP systems and ensure proper documentation.

Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives for inspections and approvals.

Assist in resolving technical issues and provide on-site solutions during execution.

Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

38 years of experience in MEP site execution (construction industry).

Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.

Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical documents.

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IS codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).

Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
