Multiline Design & Contracting LLC, a leading company in the design and fit-out contracting industry, is urgently seeking a highly capable MEP Engineer with strong Estimation and Quantity Surveying skills. The ideal candidate will be able to manage MEP design, coordination, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tender-related works, while also supporting both office activities and on-site supervision. The role also includes performing selected civil engineering tasks and site supervision duties when required.
Key Responsibilities:
MEP Engineering
- Review, prepare, and coordinate MEP shop drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting)
- Ensure proper integration of MEP disciplines with civil and architectural works
- Supervise and monitor MEP activities on-site to ensure compliance with project quality standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams for smooth execution
- Conduct technical evaluation of MEP systems and resolve on-site issues
- Perform civil engineering responsibilities related to fit-out and construction works
- Supervise civil and architectural site activities as required
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines
- Coordinate between site teams, subcontractors, and internal departments
Estimation & Quantity Surveying
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for all MEP works
- Analyze tender drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure accurate pricing
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations, perform comparisons, and prepare cost summaries
- Assist in tender preparations, pricing schedules, cost proposals, and value engineering
- Use tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift (if applicable) for estimation
- Monitor project costs and prepare periodic reports as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MEP Engineer, Estimator, or MEP QS
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and advanced Excel is an advantage
- Ability to prepare accurate quantities, BOQs, and cost estimates
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
