MEP Engineer - Real Estate

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled MEP Engineer with strong experience in high-rise residential apartment projects. The candidate must have hands-on expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, project execution, coordination with contractors/consultants, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution

• Oversee complete MEP works for high-rise residential buildings.
• Plan and supervise installation of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, and related systems.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and civil teams for MEP integration.
• Manage contractors and vendors to ensure timely work and material delivery.
• Conduct regular site meetings to track progress and resolve technical issues.

3. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all MEP installations comply with IS standards, NBC guidelines, and local statutory norms.
• Monitor quality checks for materials, installations, and commissioning.
• Conduct inspections and approve checklists for MEP works.

4. Technical Expertise

• Review and validate MEP layouts, shop drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related technical challenges on site.
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of all services.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily/weekly progress reports for all MEP activities.
• Prepare and verify measurements for contractor billing.
• Maintain records of approvals, inspections, and quality audits.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems for high-rise residential projects.
• Expertise in HVAC systems, electrical distribution, LT panels, fire protection, and plumbing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MEP design software (added advantage).
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage contractors and drive project timelines.

Preferred Background

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in MEP execution for high-rise residential apartments (mandatory).
• Experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure companies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
