MEP Lead Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Site Engineer (MEP) to supervise and coordinate HVAC and Firefighting systems installation for high-voltage substation projects in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will lead a team of mechanical engineers and subcontractors, ensuring that all site activities comply with project specifications, SEC standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the execution of HVAC and Firefighting works at substation sites.
• Review design drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Supervise site installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with project schedule, quality standards, and SEC requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams for interface management.
• Support procurement and material tracking for mechanical systems.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular site reports.
• Enforce HSE compliance and ensure safe work practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP works, with at least 3 years in substations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and Firefighting systems (design, installation, and commissioning).
• SEC approval and transferable Iqama are mandatory .
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to join within one month.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in projects under Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)
