Metrc & Packaging Manager – Cannabis Industry

Position Summary

The Metrc & Packaging Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate Metrc data while leading the daily packaging operations for all manufactured cannabis products. This role ensures compliance with Nevada CCB regulations, oversees packaging staff, maintains production workflows, and ensures all products are tracked, labeled, and packaged correctly.

This position is ideal for someone who has strong Metrc knowledge and production/packaging management experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesMetrc Compliance

• Manage all Metrc entries: packages, batches, conversions, waste, transfers, adjustments
• Track all finished goods through Metrc to ensure accurate seed-to-sale data
• Reconcile inventory daily/weekly between Metrc, physical product, and internal logs
• Correct discrepancies quickly and maintain audit-ready accuracy
• Ensure compliance with all Nevada CCB regulations and documentation
• Support internal/external audits

Packaging Management

• Oversee all daily packaging operations for manufactured products (gummies, vapes, pre-rolls, jars, distillate, etc.)
• Manage, train, and schedule packaging staff
• Ensure all packaging follows SOPs, label accuracy, weights, counts, and compliance requirements
• Maintain packaging inventory (labels, jars, bags, boxes, shrink bands, etc.) and coordinate orders
• Meet daily/weekly production quotas and maintain organized workflow
• Work with production/cultivation teams to prepare product for packaging

Qualifications

• Experience in the Nevada cannabis industry required
• Strong understanding of Metrc (packaging, conversions, finished goods, waste, audits)
• 1+ year experience in production or packaging management preferred
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage a team and maintain daily production goals
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain/maintain a NV cannabis agent card

Additional Requirements
All applicants must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a Nevada state background check as required by the Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB). If hired, you will be required to obtain an OSHA-30 certification within 60 days of employment. You must also provide and maintain a valid Nevada Cannabis Agent Card for Cultivation through the CCB. Reliable transportation, consistent attendance, and adherence to all state and company compliance policies are mandatory for this position.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
