Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outdoor thermal comfort studies using simulation and analysis tools to assess temperature, humidity, wind flow, and solar radiation impacts
- Develop microclimate strategies and design interventions to enhance outdoor livability and reduce heat stress in urban environments
- Collaborate with urban planners, landscape architects, and master planning teams to integrate sustainable design solutions
- Utilize environmental modeling software such as Rhino-Grasshopper, Ladybug, CFD tools, and Autodesk Forma for simulations and analysis
- Prepare technical reports, graphical analyses, and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for clients and project teams
- Advise on design elements influencing outdoor comfort, such as shading systems, vegetation, materials, and airflow patterns
- Support sustainability and environmental certification processes, including Estidama, LEED, and BREEAM documentation
- Participate in design workshops and contribute to multidisciplinary environmental planning discussions
- Stay informed of emerging sustainability research, microclimate trends, and digital modeling technologies
- Ensure environmental compliance and contribute to project documentation for approvals and sustainability audits
