Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for mobile applications.
• Design intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences (UX) using wireframing and web design best practices.
• Develop robust, scalable mobile apps using frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or native development tools for iOS and Android.
• Implement front-end features with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related technologies to ensure responsive web design across devices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other web services to connect apps with backend systems securely and efficiently.
• Utilize version control systems like GitHub and SVN to manage code repositories effectively.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables; employ CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Optimize app performance through system architecture planning, data visualization techniques, and efficient database management with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQLite.
• Apply DevOps practices with tools such as Docker, Ansible, AWS, Azure, and Tomcat to streamline deployment processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of codebase, system architecture, user flows, and technical specifications.
• Stay current with industry trends in web development, UX/UI design, SEO strategies for app visibility, and emerging technologies like React Native or Ruby on Rails.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms using JavaScript frameworks like React Native or native languages such as Java or Swift.
• Strong understanding of front-end development including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular or React frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python (Django), ASP.NET <PERSON>, Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with system architecture principles and designing scalable applications leveraging cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB or SQLite; knowledge of SQL queries is essential.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies using tools like Jira or Trello; familiarity with SDLC processes ensures smooth project delivery.
• Knowledge of web services protocols such as RESTful API, SOAP; ability to implement secure data exchanges via APIs is critical.
• Competence in version control systems including GitHub or SVN; experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Ability to create wireframes and prototypes that align with user flows; understanding of UX principles enhances app usability.
