JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Operate cranes, including mobile cranes.
• Inspect crane equipment before each use to ensure it is functioning properly, including checking load capacity, safety features, and mechanical parts.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate crane operations and manage the logistics of moving materials.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including inspection reports, maintenance logs, and lift plans.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of cranes and lifting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning crane operation and safety.
• Operate cranes in various weather conditions and adapt to different types of terrain.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling cranes on job sites.

Qualification:

• Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar roles
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, lift plans, and other construction documents.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks and operate equipment for long periods.
• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical skills to address minor crane issues.
