Core responsibilities
- Diagnostics and repair: Identify and fix hardware and software problems, including advanced issues like chip-level repairs.
- Component replacement: Swap out broken parts like screens, batteries, and charging ports.
- Testing: Verify that all device functions are working correctly after repairs.
- Customer service: Answer technical questions, guide customers on device usage, and explain repair statuses.
- Maintenance: Keep a clean workspace, maintain an inventory of parts, and ensure tools are calibrated.
- Data management: Keep accurate records of all repairs and securely erase data from devices when needed.
- Stay current: Keep up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
