Murex Functional Tester

One of our client (a leading bank of Singapore) is undertaking a strategic upgrade of its Murex MX.3 platform to enhance system resilience, support new product capabilities, and align with evolving regulatory and operational requirements.This initiative includes upgrading from version 3.1.42.48b to 3.1.6x.x, onboarding the EQA and OSP Excess modules, and implementing comprehensive reconciliation, testing automation, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand Test requirements provided by Design authority and Functional teams
• Developing and executing test plans and strategies
• Contribute to Design of MX test pack and propose and feedback on feasibility of automation
• Defect triage and management
• Managing regression, and performance testing progress
• Runbook planning and management
• Agile principles, including Jira dashboards and Confluence-based runbooks
• Preparing DSR and keeping the stake holders updated
• Responsible to interact with users for validation of test automation results

Skills

Must have

• 3 to 5 years of relevant Test experience for a Murex.
• Experience on murex setup and functional tests using various module of murex is desirable
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in working direct with Technical leads, project managers and Business Analysts in business and IT organization
• Experience of the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects
• Strong knowledge on the various Murex generated logs and trace the trades across the Murex tasks.
• Good knowledge on the various configuration in Murex.
• Excellent communication, inter-personal skills and problem solving skills
