Job Description

As an n8n Automation Expert, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing automation workflows across various tools and platforms. You’ll collaborate with our team to understand operational requirements and create scalable automation solutions that improve productivity and reduce manual tasks.

You should have strong problem solving skills, deep understanding of API integrations, and the ability to transform business needs into fully automated processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy automation workflows using n8n

Integrate third-party tools and APIs smoothly and efficiently

Create reusable modules, triggers, and workflow templates

Troubleshoot and optimize existing automations for performance and reliability

Document workflows, logic, and technical processes

Collaborate with internal teams to analyze needs and identify automation opportunities

Ensure all workflows follow best practices, security standards, and data handling protocols

Requirements

Must Have Skills

Proven experience working with n8n (workflow building, triggers, nodes, custom functions)

Strong understanding of API integrations, JSON, Webhooks, OAuth, REST APIs

Experience with JavaScript for custom coding inside Function nodes

Ability to design scalable and maintainable automation architectures

Experience integrating with platforms like:

Google Workspace

CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, GoHighLevel, Pipedrive, etc.)

Slack, Notion, Airtable, ClickUp

E-commerce tools, payment gateways, or marketing platforms

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills

Nice-to-Have

Experience with other automation tools (Make, Zapier, ActivePieces)

Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Ability to build custom n8n nodes (TypeScript/Node.js)
