Network Infrastructure Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical infrastructure that supports business operations (hardware, networks, operating systems, systems middleware and telecommunications).
• Contribute to documenting, monitoring, and maintaining the network infrastructure.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal leadership, business teams, IT, and external vendors.
• Serve as an escalation point to diagnose complex network and server issues, identifying causes and developing strategies.
• Assist the management of the server environment, these tasks include creating new virtual machines, upgrading management software, troubleshooting infrastructure, and closely monitoring resource usage.
• Offer technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to peers when needed / as required.

Skills and Experience Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Networking.
• 3+ years of experience with design, configuration, installation, maintenance and tuning components associated with the LAN / WAN infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft Server and Active Directory and Group Policy in a multi-domain separated environment.
• Active Directory administration.
• Azure administration – IAM (Identity and Access Management).
• TCP/IP network knowledge and troubleshooting skills, with an understanding of DHCP, WINS, and DNS network services.
• Routers and Switches troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of backup concepts and best practices.
• Experience using Veeam Backup and Replication software.
• Microsoft SQL Server administration familiarity (database tuning, building tables, stored procedures).
• Understanding of SAN and storage architecture.
• Knowledge of wireless networking (managing, troubleshooting, and best practices).
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field.
