Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure network security through firewalls, antivirus, and other protective measures.
• Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and servers.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to support hardware and software requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery protocols are in place.
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and best practices.
• Provide technical support to staff regarding connectivity and network-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a Networking Engineer or Network Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and VPN configuration.
• Proficiency in Cisco, MikroTik, or other networking equipment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.
