Networking Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and bandwidth issues.
• Manage and secure LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and VoIP environments.
• Implement and maintain network security, including firewalls, access controls, and intrusion prevention.
• Perform network upgrades, capacity planning, and regular maintenance.
• Maintain accurate network documentation (network diagrams, IP allocations, configurations).
• Support end-users for network-related issues and escalate when required.
• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure improvement projects.
• Ensure network compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Conduct routine disaster recovery and backup verification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in network administration or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking devices (Cisco, Mikrotik, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
• Understanding of firewall configuration and network security principles.
• Familiarity with VPNs, remote access, and wireless technologies.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, MTCNA, Fortinet NSE) preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
