NICU staff nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Staff Nurse with a minimum of five years of hands-on neonatal intensive care experience. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to critically ill and premature newborns, support families through complex clinical situations, and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates in Level II/III/IV NICU settings.
• Conduct continuous patient assessments, monitor vital signs, interpret clinical data, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced therapeutic interventions per provider orders and NICU protocols.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, incubators, infusion pumps, and monitoring devices.
• Assist with and support complex procedures (e.g., line insertions, intubations, transfusions).
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
• Educate and support parents and families on newborn care, feeding plans, safety, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement standards within the NICU.
• Contribute to unit-based initiatives, continuing education, and clinical skill development.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
