Nursing staff

A. Key Responsibilities:A. Patient Care

• Monitor vital signs (BP, Pulse, Temperature, SPO₂, RBS).
• Administer medications as per doctor’s order (IV/IM/SC/Oral).
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
• Maintain hygiene and comfort for patients (bathing, repositioning, feeding if needed).
• Provide pre- and post-operative care.

B. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain nursing notes, intake/output charts, treatment charts.
• Record all procedures and medication administration accurately.
• Report any abnormal findings to the doctor immediately.
• Handover information properly during shift change.

C. Infection Control

• Follow proper handwashing, PPE usage, and aseptic techniques.
• Ensure biomedical waste segregation as per BMW norms.
• Maintain cleanliness of nursing station and patient area.

D. Patient & Attender Communication

• Educate patient/attender on medication, diet, discharge care, and hospital rules.
• Handle patient queries politely and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

E. Ward Management

• Check and maintain stock of medicines, consumables, linen, and instruments.
• Follow emergency protocols (CPR, Code Blue).
• Prepare discharge summary inputs and assist during patient transfer.
• Ensure proper functioning of medical equipment and report issues.

Qualifications

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing
• Valid Nursing Council Registration
• Experience: 0–5 years (as per hospital requirement)

Working Conditions

• Rotational shifts (Morning / Evening / Night)
• Weekend and holiday duties as required
• Adherence to hospital policies and protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
