Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Odoo Developer to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Odoo applications to meet our business needs. You will collaborate with various departments virtually to customize and enhance Odoo modules, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and Customization:
  • Develop, customize, and enhance Odoo modules to meet business requirements.
  • Create and modify Odoo views, reports, workflows, and data structures.
  • Integration:
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain data integration and migration scripts.
  • Testing and Debugging:
  • Conduct thorough testing of new features and bug fixes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Odoo modules and integrations.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and team members.
  • Assist in resolving system issues and optimizing performance.
  • Documentation:
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed modules and integrations.
  • Document development processes and best practices.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with remote team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as an Odoo Developer with a strong understanding of Odoo framework.
  • Experience in Python programming and familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in developing custom Odoo modules and integrating Odoo with other systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with remote work tools and practices.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with other ERP systems and business software.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of business processes such as accounting, inventory, and sales.
