OFFICE AND YARD CUSTODIAN JOB

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office and Yard Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. This role involves performing janitorial and custodial tasks both indoors and outdoors, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, facilities upkeep. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall appearance and safety of our property while working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct yard maintenance including trash removal, sweeping, and basic landscaping tasks
• Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, waxing, and other floor care procedures to ensure a polished appearance
• Handle custodial duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and window cleaning
• Assist with reporting issues to management
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
• Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or facilities maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care and buffing
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Prior experience with residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required
• Must be punctual, responsible, and able to follow safety guidelines at all times

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
