Job Summary
We are a busy CPA firm in Rusk seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to manage HR duties, task tracking, accounts receivable and daily administrative operations. This role supports the staff by keeping the office running smoothly, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining accurate records. Ideal candidates are dependable, great communicators, tech-savvy, excellent with follow-through, and able to juggle multiple priorities with professionalism.
Duties:
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, maintaining personnel records, ensure policies, procedures and HR compliance are followed
- Track tasks and deadlines for the firm to ensure timely completion
- Monitor project progress and assist staff with priorities
- Communicate with team members
- Help streamline processes to improve efficiency
- Plan and execute company events, meetings, and training sessions to promote team engagement and professional development
- Accounts Receivable duties, including posting payments, balancing & reconciling, sending invoices
- Support the Admin team
Qualifications
- 2+ years in office management, HR, bookkeeping, or similar role
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
- Background in human resources functions such as onboarding, employee recordkeeping or HR compliance
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette are essential for success in this role
- Proficiency in Computer systems, Office, Excel
- Professional, friendly, and dependable
Pay is dependent upon experience.
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
