Officer - Networks & Security

Job Role:

Maintain the network infrastructure comprising of LAN, WAN, MPLS, Secure VPN, and associated systems. Ensure high availability of secure network through active monitoring and timely updates.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively maintain highly reliable network ensuring high availability with minimum unplanned downtime.
• Closely monitor internal and external communication infrastructure and work closely with providers to ensure user & vendor SLAs are being achieved.
• Ensure a highly resilient and reliable network infrastructure.
• Timely upgrade of both Network Hardware and Software to ensure systems are up to date and in line with the company's security standards and general Network Security best practices.
• Work closely with IT team members to understand their project requirements and provide networking solutions that ensure project success.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or related field (engineering discipline) with Professional level IT certification minimum. Additional qualifications such as MCITP, CCNA (security & voice) and Cisco VOIP & Telephony certifications are a preferred advantage. Strong understanding of network protocols, security frameworks, and best practices.

Experience:

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Network and Security administration.
• Experience in Cisco routers, L2/3 switches, firewalls, IPS, CUCM/CCME, ISE, web/App filters and wireless solutions is a must.
• Experience with Monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and PRTG, ManageEngine solutions, etc.
• Exposure to Call Recording and IVR solutions is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good working knowledge on VoIP techniques and telecommunication technologies.
• Hands-on experience on MPLS & Data Center & WAN and LAN, VoIP technologies.
• Experience on ADN and Web filtering (Umbrella, Checkpoint), Palo Alto platforms, Fortinet, Load Balancers & WAF (F5) etc.
• Fluent English. Arabic is a plus.
