Job Title: Offshore Accountant

Location: Salt Lake, Kolkata (On-site)

Salary Range: ₹2,00,000 – ₹3,00,000 per annum

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Offshore Accountant to support accounting and finance functions for international clients. The role involves working closely with overseas teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, bookkeeping, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including AP/AR management
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports
• Manage bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
• Assist in monthly, quarterly & yearly closing processes
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards
• Collaborate with foreign clients via email and calls
• Support tax preparation and audits as required
• Maintain accurate and secure financial records

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (preferred)
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good communication skills in English (written & verbal)
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience as a US / Offshore Accountant
