OPD Assistant

Key responsibilities

· Patient assessment: Assessing patient symptoms, taking vital signs, and reviewing medical histories.

· Treatment and medication: Administering prescribed medications and treatments, and assisting physicians with procedures and exams.

· Patient education: Educating patients and families on disease management, medication instructions, and follow-up care.

· Record keeping: Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, both electronic and paper-based.

· Collaboration: Working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

· Operational support: Ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic, which includes managing equipment, supplies, and the overall flow of the department.

· Communication: Effectively communicating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Essential skills and qualifications

· Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in both electronic and paper record-keeping.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Familiarity with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
