Job Description

Role Purpose:

The Manager Operations will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of operational activities across oil & gas shutdown and turnaround projects in Kuwait. The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of local market conditions, and a proven background in executing complex maintenance and turnaround projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations for shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements in Kuwait.
• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources to meet project timelines and operational targets.
• Monitor performance metrics, resolve bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Manage large multi-disciplinary teams and ensure workforce productivity and discipline.
• Review technical documentation, method statements, and progress reports.
• Provide strategic operational insights to senior management for long-term planning.
• Ensure all shutdown and turnaround milestones are achieved within cost and schedule boundaries.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 10–20 years of industry experience in Oil & Gas operations.
• Minimum 5 years in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in shutdown & turnaround operations .
• Prior experience operating in the Kuwait oil & gas market is mandatory.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced project environments.
