OPERATIONS MANAGER / COO

Position Level: Senior / Leadership (Reporting to Founder/Director)

Salary Range: ₹45,000 - ₹65,000/month + performance bonus (15-20%)

Experience Required: 7-10 years in HVAC, cleanroom systems, or air purification

Job Title: Operations Manager / Chief Operations Officer (Interim)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical & Product:

• Design and standardize positive pressure room systems for different room sizes (small 100-150 sqft, medium 200-350 sqft, large 350+ sqft)
• Create installation standard operating procedures (SOPs) with 3-4 week timeline
• Develop quality assurance protocols and testing procedures
• Specify components and maintain relationships with 2-3 key suppliers
• Conduct installation quality checks and troubleshooting

2. Operations:

• Oversee installation processes and ensure timelines are met
• Build and train installation technician team
• Manage inventory of materials and spare parts
• Create maintenance protocols and checklists
• Establish health, safety, and compliance standards
• Manage logistics for deliveries and installations

3. Strategic:

• Advise on scalability of systems and processes
• Recommend technology upgrades (IoT monitoring, smart controls)
• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions
• Prepare for geographic expansion (Bangalore, Mumbai)

Success Metrics:

• Installation timeline: Maintain 3-4 week standard
• Quality: 95%+ customer satisfaction on installation
• Cost control: Keep per-unit cost on lower side
• Team development: Train 2-3 technicians to quality standard
• Zero safety incidents
• Day 1 Priorities: Meet with suppliers, lock in pricing
• Design 3-4 system templates
• Create installation SOP documentation
• Interview and hire installation technicians
• Establish supplier and inventory management system
