We are a small but fast-growing company, and operations are the backbone of everything we do—from production to logistics to inventory management. We are looking for a strong Operations Manager who can bring structure, accountability, and process-driven thinking to our team.
About the Role
The Operations Manager
is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day execution across shipping, production planning, inventory management, warehouse coordination, and vendor communication. This is a
hands-on, process-driven role
—perfect for someone who thrives in a small, entrepreneurial environment and wants to have real ownership over operations.
You will work closely with our Production & Inventory Lead, warehouse partners, and suppliers to keep orders flowing, inventory accurate, and production running on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Logistics

Manage all outbound shipments (LTL, FTL, parcel, Amazon, wholesale, e-commerce)

Ensure shipping inquiries are handled quickly and professionally

Maintain routing guides and ensure compliance

Request freight quotes and secure competitive rates

Generate and manage BOLs, packing lists, and documentation
Inbound Freight & Inventory

Coordinate inbound materials, packaging, and ingredients

Track inbound POs and ensure timely arrival

Maintain accurate inventory levels across production, warehouse, and 3PL

Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies

Update inventory system
Production Support
-
Build and maintain weekly production schedules
-
Forecast material needs and ensure stock for production

Work closely with the Production & Inventory Lead to ensure smooth workflow

Prepare reports on production progress, yield, and delays
Vendor, Warehouse & 3PL Coordination

Serve as primary contact for external warehouses and logistics partners
-
Manage inbound and outbound appointments
-
Resolve warehouse and freight issues proactively
-
Ensure clear communication across all vendors
Process & System Improvements

Maintain SOPs and drive continuous process improvements

Improve warehouse workflows, shipping speed, and inventory accuracy

Support cost savings initiatives across freight, production, and materials
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience

3–6+ years in operations, supply chain, or logistics (CPG/food preferred)

Experience managing shipping, freight, inventory, and warehouse workflows
-
Comfortable working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to juggle multiple priorities with accuracy

Problem solver with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude

Basic proficiency in Excel/Sheets and inventory systems
Bonus Points

Experience with MRP's, QuickBooks, or similar systems

Experience working with food manufacturers or co-packers

Experience improving operational processes and reporting
